Founded in 2009, to focus on the traditional craft and unrivaled quality of Czech glass. SkLO has 2 locations - one in the Czech Republic and one in the USA. All of their glass is handblown in the Europe, but assembled here in the US with a North American UL listing. The SkLO collections are designed by SkLO partners, Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlak. They are a husband and wife design team and also the founders of SkLO. The lighting reflects their own point of view as designers when considering the craft of blowing glass and embraces it's imperfections. The SkLO collection also offers a variety of objects, including vessels, sculptures, and wallpieces.

New items from Pedrali for 2017

During the 56th edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Pedrali presented seven new collections and four new models that enrich existing ones: versatile and functional products made from wood, metal, plastic and padded material.

Above you will see the new Fox Armchair. It's shaped thin shell in polypropylene is reinforced with glass fibers and encased in a curved ash profile with rounded ends, like a hug. The versatility and functionality of the collection is guaranteed by multiple color combinations between the wood and the comfortable shell, which can be combined with legs in ash or steel tube. The chair is stackable up to 3 high with the steel base. Available polypropylene colors are: white, black, sand, marsala, and sugar paper. Starting pricing is $326 List.

Here at MORLEN SINOWAY we want to make sure you know our product variety and brands well. Today, we'd like to make you more familiar with Black Tie. 

Black Tie is 100% made in Italy. The founder, Pier Luigi Frighetto began his workshop in 1977.
He established this collection in 2012 and decided to call it Black Tie to emphasize that elegance must always be at the forefront of his designs. Read the story behind the brand in his own words below.

The word elegance has always fascinated me. Ever since I had a view of a Palladian villa from the window of my workshop; an example of beauty, harmony and balanced form that continues to be the essence of my work. It was right there I started producing sofas, making them by hand in that small workshop in the province of Vicenza, not that far from the romance of Venice. It was 1977 and I could feel the full, positive influence of that view, of this my beautiful land Veneto, in the North-East of Italy. It’s been 35 years since I started in my workshop. And now I feel ready to start making handmade sofas again. Nowadays it’s so hard to think of a craft that takes up so much time just imagining how it will turn out, imagining its shape and creating its very being. Instead I decided to start a new phase using the word that had inspired my work so much as a starting point - elegance. It’s no coincidence that my new design is called Black Tie, because it originates from my need to find and create elegance, although it also originates from my personal belief that making a sofa demands the best – the best suit – to use a metaphor which has become my trademark – from those who plan it, design it, and create it. I still believe this today -                            elegance has to be a way of thinking, long before it becomes an object.                                  - Pier Luigi Frighetto
