Spectrum Furniture is one of the brands carried by Morlen Sinoway Atelier based in Chicago's Fulton Market.
Spectrum, founded 1941, is one of the oldest Dutch furniture companies in existence.
Within the Spectrum collection the design of contemporary talent is combined with classics from leading Dutch designers from the 20th century. On the right an interior including an armchair for Metz&Co (by Gerrit Rietveld - 1942), the BZ slatted bench and BR 02 sleeping sofa (both by Martin Visser - 1960), the Paperback wall system (Studio Parade - 2009) plus the Tangled side table (Carolina Wilcke - 2015).
The principle ‘Form follows function’ is the starting point in the Spectrum collection. Designs with a clear construction and idiom, like the Kokke armchair shown here. Material, form and functionality provide the basis for this chair, designed by Ruud-Jan Kokke in 1987
The collection is suitable for home, commercial, hospitality, or office use.
