Introducing Prostoria

Lori Nguyen

Croatian brand Prostoria finds inspiration from everyday life and their customer's stories. Both of these get translated into their designs. Comfort and reasonable pricing are always top priorities, so that their pieces are accessible for a variety of projects.

Above you will see the Polygon Lounge chair, Polygon Table, and Elegance Sofa. We are excited to offer these pieces at such a great price point. The Polygon is already getting a lot of interest due to it's combination of materials. Prostoria offers both standard fabrics and COM with approval. The base of the Polygon chair can be specified with a powder-coat, chrome, black chrome, or copper finish. The armrests are accented with either natural Oak, Walnut, or Ash. The result is a product which seems familiar, even slightly old-fashioned but at the same time is extremely contemporary.

We hope Prostoria sparks some interest for upcoming project. Keep in mind this collection is suitable for residential, contract, and hospitality projects. We look forward to hearing from you!

Morlen Sinoway's Bronze Vessels

Lori Nguyen

MSA-Bronze-Vessels.jpg

We are proud to finally introduce a new series of Bronze Vessels by Morlen Sinoway.  Please take a peak at the animated GIF to understand the design behind this series. Morlen's artist statement can be found below.

Artist statement

Using ceramics to convey architectural intent, I have created “Totems” to
imply architecture. My “Architecture” is influenced by the past, present, and the
future. They are reminiscent of Babylon, in the past, influenced by the raw
concrete material and shapes used by Bertrand Goldberg in Chicago and Paolo
Soleri the architect of Acrosanti in the Arizona Desert. The vessel objects are
modular, providing options and choice. The future is THE FUTURE. Future
architecture will be choice…

I am in awe of Surrealism, DADA, the Fluxus, Design, and Architecture. We are
all unique, we are all ordinary, imperfections are intentional and beautiful!

THE PURPOSE

When the objects are either joined individually side by side or in “Totem” form,
then combined together, they are intended to create a formal “Urban
Architectural Landscape”, a city of structures if you will, that are meant to be
played with…

They are playful and fun! The spectator is the Architect, the manipulator, and
the city planner. They are scale less. Change is good!
