Inspired by the energy and exuberance of Parisian streets, the scarf “A Walk in Paris” features intricate lines that complement the geometric structure of the Eiffel Tower. The purposeful combination of vibrant colors captures the urban bustle of the City of Love, the capital city of Isabelle Gougenheim’s home country.
Employing the world as her muse and a blank scarf as her canvas, French-American artist Isabelle Gougenheim blends her passion for art and an innate love for scarves into wearable masterpieces. After sketching her designs – which she explains, are “inspired by the souls of the city streets” – Gougenheim prints these urban poems on a luxurious and airy modal-silk fabric. Her designs are available in fashion boutiques and museums all over the world.
